Part 1: Setting The Scene
I want you to imagine yourself living in the 1950's, as a black 9th grader, Where you are somebody who is getting death threats 24/7, getting bombed, getting insulted and battered- all because you wish to get a higher education. Well this is how the famous "Little Rock Nine" had to live just because they wanted to go to high school.
Part 2: The Hardships
Back in the late 1800’s and mid-late 1900’s black people were being treated as unequal to white people and not all schools and/or jobs would allow black people to get work/education making their lives difficult. People were split which means some people wanted The Little Rock Nine to integrate into Central High School, and some really didn't want to have the school integrated (who we will call the Segregationists) which lead to them- the Segregationists bombing the town, attempting countless murders, and even trying to shut down schools altogether. and thats only a few of the things they've done.
Part 3: "The Nine"
The Little Rock Nine are the core subjects of this story. Their names were: Minnijean Brown, Elizabeth Eckford, Ernest Green, Thelma Mothershed, Melba Pattillo, Gloria Ray, Terrence Roberts, Jefferson Thomas, and Carlotta Walls. They were all very important to this history in one way or another (which we will get into later on).

Part 4: The Major Attacks
Back in the 1950's when the Segregationists were trying to stop the integration of Central High School, Arkansas, one of the biggest attacks they planned was a bombing. One of those bombs were planted near Carlotta Walls' house with the intention to hurt, or even kill her. [more will be added to this section later]
